Paul Shenar’s career in acting began at a young age. Born on February 12, 1936, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Paul was the second of four children to Eugene Joseph Shenar and Mary Rosella. He had an older brother named John, and two younger brothers named Michael and Marc.
Shenar’s ancestry included Polish, Slovenian, Turkish, Greek, and Jewish roots. He attended the University of Wisconsin where he was active in theater and after graduating, joined the United States Air Force.
